Seacoast United is proud to announce the reorganization of the Seacoast United Massachusetts Soccer Club for the 2019-2020 soccer season. This rebirth of Seacoast United’s soccer programming in Northeast Massachusetts will provide increased access to Seacoast United’s US Soccer Development Academy, National Premier League (NPL), and New England Premiership (NEP) Premier and Select team programs for players in the region. Seacoast United Massachusetts will offer the highest-level training and development led by experienced, professional coaches based out of first-class facilities.
As part of Seacoast United’s new identity in Massachusetts, the SUSC Benfica and SUSC Storm branches will merge into a single entity headquartered in the Andover region. Continued programming based out of Amesbury and a new operation in the Danvers area are also key pieces of the club’s plan. Each location will create its own localized U9/U10 (7v7) teams and U11/U12 (9v9) teams. From U13 and above (11v11), the regional hubs will collaborate to create unified Seacoast United Massachusetts teams. Additional local and regional programming, such as grassroots, Emerging Talent Academy, camps, clinics, leagues and tournaments will be developed.
Major sites identified as homes for Seacoast United Massachusetts programming include Greater Lawrence Technical School in Andover and the Seacoast United Sports Park in Amesbury. Along with sites in the Danvers area, these will serve as the primary locations for the club’s training programs and NEP teams, as well as allow Seacoast to bring more Development Academy and NPL player development and team programs closer to families in Bay State’s northeast corridor.

Seacoast United Mass City’s South Shore programs, as well as Seacoast United’s Massachusetts affiliate programs will remain largely unaffected by these changes.
More details will be revealed ahead of tryouts for the 2019-2020 season. Seacoast United Massachusetts looks forward to expanding access and improving the quality of Development Academy, NPL and NEP soccer opportunities for the area’s players.
